Welcome to Hanging Boot Camp!

Here we will create a community dedicated to understanding our fundamentals to improve our aerial practice.

Every program will include at least 3 exercises to help you understand and improve on the goal of that cycle. You will be provided with a video demonstration and explanation of each exercise and then given the opportunity to submit your own performance of them for analysis and critique by Dr. Emily Scherb.

Because the body needs time to learn an adjust (and some of you may want to submit multiple videos for feedback) the release dates are approximately two weeks apart.


Schedule:

January 10, 2019 Exercises to assist in the understanding shoulder motion and positional awareness

January 20, 2019 Exercises to improve shoulder mobility overhead

February 11, 2019 Exercises to strengthen scapular stability overhead

February 25, 2019 Exercises to functionally strengthen the rotator cuff


Note: The schedule for this first course of 2019 will be slightly altered due to Emily's travel schedule. (She is going on her honeymoon!!!) Emily will be unreachable from January 25, 2019 through February 11, 2019.
